I have known James for two years. We have worked on a range of garden design projects together during this period in the Surrey & Hampshire area. He is an excellent communicator & always keeps me fully informed of progress & any queries before, during & in between my project monitoring site visits.

BlueFish recently undertook a hard landscaping project at our home. They carried out their work in a professional manner. We found them to be efficient, skillful with outstanding attention to detail. They were very cooperative when asked to carry out additional work. They also worked in a clean, tidy and methodical manner. The quality of their work is outstanding and we were really delighted with the end results.

We are grade II listed, with both the house and the gardens being completed in the vernacular style using elements from Lutyens and Jekyll. Getting traditional craftsmen who can produce work to such a high standard is not easy. I have had other works done on other parts of the property and whilst they are generally well done they do not meet with the exacting standards produced by BlueFish.

It is not easy to find contractors who have the traditional skills and who can build for the long term. I have had various people visit the garden to view elements of the garden design on behalf of the architect, and I would be happy to show the quality of the workmanship. It is impressive and the garden already looks like it was built years ago. It is beautiful and works well with the tile-hung house.

Thank you to all the team at BlueFish for having done such a wonderful job transforming the walled garden. We are so delighted with it and everyone agrees that it is now a more ‘inviting’ space which fits in so much better with the garden as a whole.
