The Stunning Rose Garden
The Rose Garden project blends locally quarried Bargate stone for the dry stone and mortared walling with a reclaimed Bargate stone crazy paving area. Reclaimed york paving has been used on the step treads, areas under the pergola and to frame the brick herringbone areas. Intricate brick and tile detailing enhance the overall aesthetic, paying homage to the timeless elegance of Edward Lutyens and the period features of the main residence.
At the heart of the garden stands a central York stone water feature, encircled by 24 meticulously crafted spirals, serving as a captivating focal point. To complement this, we re-graded the surrounding land to achieve a soft landscaped effect.
The finishing touches include turfing, Buxus hedging, yew hedging, and an array of vibrant plants and roses. This careful selection adds bursts of colour, creating a harmonious and visually stunning conclusion to the Rose Garden project.
